A cruise ship customer comes into the shop for a guided dive. Not a real nice dude. He brought a friend along without booking it, but that is okay for us. However, he argued with the taxi driver and refused to pay for two people or her take on additional people. As he fills out our liability waver, he realizes that the taxi drove off with his logbook and dive cards, dough.
So the moral of the story, be nice to other people, especially if you are on holiday in another country.
Yes, Karma is a bitch. He got what he deserved.
And to top it off, he forgot his camera in the rinse bucket. He had to get a taxi all the way back from town to us and then back again to get the camera. There goes another $70 and his plans of having lunch in town before returning to the ship.
Ha, to rub it in, he could have taken the bus from George Town for 2CI and for an extra CI or two the nice bus driver probably would have dropped him off right at Cobalt.
I love taking the bus there, it takes a little longer, but the people are generally nice. Sometimes it is nice to see Karma in action, not that I like people to have bad luck, but it is generally rare to see these lessons as they happen. Hope that guy was not rude to you or our other pals there.
He was luckily not rude to me, but I was only in the shop and did not deal much with him. Not sure how he was towards CJ that was supposed to guide him. However taking off and leaving your guide is pretty rude in my book.
The funny thing is I did inform him that he could take the $2 bus back, he just had to walk a small distance to get to the bus stop. But he elected to go for a taxi.
