On the dive boat a customer turns to me and asks. “How salty is the sea here?”.
Before I can reply, he continues. “Because when I was in Cozumel, I had to wear extra weight because the sea is really salty there.”
I replied that the sea in Cayman is average salty.
His reply was, “Great, so I can drop some weight.” He then proceeded to adjust his weight for the new saltiness of the ocean. You learn something new every day.
You should have told him that the salinometer was reading 5.4 ……
He should have a tank phrase “Does this tank make me look stupid?”
I wonder how much he took off his weithg belt. I calculate 1.423798126309927 ounces would be required to compensate.
Steve, you know they will use that 5.4 in their calculations to get to the correct weight, after plugging in the moon’s orbit and the sun’s hotness. 🙂
